  • LOLC (Cambodia) - Pailin Branch organized its community event by distributing some study materials for students, benches, chairs, brooms, and books to Komus Primary School

    In the morning of February 3, 2024, LOLC (Cambodia) - Pailin Branch organized its community event by distributing some study materials for students, benches, chairs, brooms, and books to Komus Primary School, located in Suon Ampov Keut Village, Sangkat Pailin Commune, Pailin City, Pailin Province. The above activities confirm the significant contribution of Pailin branch in promoting the education sector in Cambodia in terms of participating in cultivating and developing the next generation to have sufficient knowledge that can help themselves and the country in the future.

  • Sustainability Management team of LOLC (Cambodia) provided financial education training to clients and villagers in the communities

    On January 31 to February 2, 2024, Sustainability Management team of LOLC (Cambodia) provided financial education training to clients and villagers in the communities to promote financial education awareness of efficiency management on dept. The training was attended by 136 participants (clients and villagers) including 106 women in 8 villages: 1. Tram Village, Tnaot Chum Commune, Krakor District, Pursat Province 2. Paen Village, Leach Commune, Phnum Kravanh District, Pursat Province 3. Thlea M'am Village, Boeng Kantuot Commune, Krakor District, Pursat Province 4. Rumchek village, kakaoh commune, Moung Ruessei district, Battambang province. 5. Tuol Prum Muoy village, kakaoh commune, Moung Ruessei district, Battambang province. 6. Tuol Prum Pir Village, Kakaoh commune, Moung Ruessei district, Battambang province. 7. Daun Try Village, Chrey Commune, Moung Ruessei district, Battambang province. 8. Angkrong Village, Chrey Commune, Moung Ruessei district, Battambang province.

  • LOLC Cambodia staffs of Mesang branch donated benches, rubbish bins, and cases of fresh water to Mesang District Hall

    On January 31, 2024 – LOLC Cambodia staffs of Mesang branch donated benches, rubbish bins, and cases of fresh water to Mesang District Hall, which is in Veang Village, Chi Pok Commune, Mesang District, Prey Veng Province. The activity demonstrated the contribution to CSR activity through supporting the authority to provide better public services to local people.

  • Sustainability Management Team continued to provide Financial Education Awareness Training

    On January 30, 2024 – Sustainability Management Team continued to provide Financial Education Awareness Training to total 92 participants including 72 females of LOLC Cambodia’s clients and villagers in the 5 following villages: 1. Prey Aomal Village, Roleab Commune, Pursat District, Pursat Province. 2. Chheu Teal Village, Tnaot Chum Commune, Krakor District, Pursat Province 3. Tros Village, Ta Loas Commune, Moung Russei district, Battambang Province. 4. Ma Nork Village, Ta Loas Commune, Moung Russei District, Battambang Province. 5. Suosdei Village, Ta Loas Commune, Moung Russei District, Battambang Province. The aim of these training courses is to help clients and other participants tapplying for their loans effectively by sharing important key messages including consideration before applying loans and the right purpose of using them to avoid over-indebtedness.

  • LOLC Cambodia continued its activities to delivery financial education awareness training to communities within its operational branches

    LOLC Cambodia, a leading microfinance institution continued its activities to delivery financial education awareness training to communities within its operational branches. The training demonstrated LOLC caring for community and society to stay sustainable businesses. The training was held on December 16, 2024, for 59 participants including 50 females in Kampot province at 6 locations as mentioned below: 1. Trapeang korki Village, Lbaeuk Commune, Chhuk District, Kampot Province. 2. Trapeang Kuy Village, Lbaeuk Commune, Chhuk District, Kampot Province. 3. Damnak Ampil Village, L'ang Commune, Dang Tong District, Kampot Province. 4. Trapeang Seh Village, L'ang Commune, Dang Tong District, Kampot Province. 5. Chheu Teal Village, Chumpu Voan Commune, Chum kiri District, Kampot Province. 6. Doun Ov Village, Snay Anhchit Commune, Chum kiri District, Kampot Province.

  • Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided Financial Education Awareness Training on “Debt Management” to communities

    On January 15, 2024, the Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided Financial Education Awareness Training on “Debt Management” to communities within its branch operation area, which has conducted for 2 trainings with a total of 28 participants including 22 women in the following location: 1. Toul Village, Lberk Commune, Chuk district, Kampot Province. 2. Srae Chrov Village, Lbaeuk Commune, Chhuk District, Kampot province. The aim of these trainings is to help clients and other participants to manage their loans effectively by sharing important key messages including consideration before applying loans and right purpose of using them to avoid over-indebtedness.

  • LOLC Cambodia signed an agreement with Ecobatt-Energry Cambodia to collaborate in collecting waste of electrical and electronic equipment

    On January 3, 2024, LOLC Cambodia signed an agreement with Ecobatt-Energry Cambodia to collaborate in collecting waste of electrical and electronic equipment that adversely affects the environment and human health, the agreement focuses on two main activities: 1. Collecting battery from staff and clients through battery recycle bin in which is placed at the Operating Office of LOLC (Cambodia). 2. Collecting waste of electrical and electronic equipment (telephones, computers, air conditioners, printers, cameras, batteries, etc.) in contribution to Eco-Batt Energy Cambodia for recycling and waste separation. This collaboration aims to contribute to the protection of the environment, which the LOLC Cambodia always focuses and takes action. "A good environment starts with you, LOLC Cambodia is with you for environmental protection!"

  • Svay Rieng Branch of LOLC (Cambodia) has donated 3 bins, 2 sets of benches, as well as collecting garbage with teachers and students in Svay Rieng High School

    On the morning of December 28, 2023, Svay Rieng Branch of LOLC (Cambodia) has donated 3 bins, 2 sets of benches, as well as collecting garbage with teachers and students in Svay Rieng High School located in Srah Vong Village, Sangkat Svay Rieng, Svay Rieng City, Svay Rieng Province. On that occasion, Mr. Kong Sothy, Branch Manager of Svay Rieng Branch, made conversation with the students who participated in the event, cultivating good ideas to encourage them to pay more attention to environmental protection activities and social contribution.

  • Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided Financial Education Awareness Training to communities

    In 2023, Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided Financial Education Awareness Training to communities on the topic “Income and Expense” within its operation branches for 237 trainings, which has 4,218 participants including 3,335 females. These activities have shown the contribution and focus in promoting financial awareness to its clients and communities. At the same time, LOLC Cambodia plans to continue to provide training to clients and the communities next year and will bring good lessons related to financial education as well as environmental awareness.

  • LOLC Cambodia provided last two financial education awareness training courses to communities

    LOLC Cambodia provided last two financial education awareness training courses to communities for 2023 within its operational branches. The training courses were taught to the clients and villagers about effective management of income and expenses. Mr. Chey Poch, who participated in the training, said that this lesson is valuable, which could help him to understand how to manage expenses effectively. The training courses were held on December 15, 2023, by Sustainability Management team to 29 participants including 22 females at different location as mentioned in the following: 1. Chamkar Doung village, Prey Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province 2. Sdau village, Sdau commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province

  • Financial education awareness training to communities

    LOLC Cambodia, a leading microfinance institution continued its activities to delivery financial education awareness training to communities within its operational branches. The training demonstrated LOLC caring for community and society to stay sustainable businesses. The training was held on December 14, 2023, for 62 participants including 51 females in Battambang and Kampong Speu at different location as mentioned below: 1. Doun Meay village, Sdau commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province 2. Badak Tboung village, Reaksmei Songha commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province 3. Soukong village, SnamKrapeu Commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province.

  • Financial Education Awareness training on the topic “Income and Expense”

    LOLC Cambodia’s clients and villagers of total 49 participation including 40 females attended in Financial Education Awareness training on the topic “Income and Expense”. The focus and happy expression of participants reflected that they were interested in the provided lesson and teaching. The aim of this project is to enable them to manage their cashflow well in their daily lives. The training was conducted on December 13, 2023, at four different locations: 1. Chek Sraton village, Prey Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province. 2. Angk Krasang village, Chongruk commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province. 3. Ou Da village, Phlov Meas commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province. 4. Ou Lmun village, Phlov Meas commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province.

  • Sustainability Management Team continue to provide Financial Education Awareness Training

    On December 12, 2023 – Sustainability Management Team continue to provide Financial Education Awareness Training to total 53 participants including 45 females of LOLC Cambodia’s clients and villagers in the 4 following villages: 1. Chi Sang village, Traeng commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province. 2. Svay Sa village, Traeng commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province. 3. Ta phok village, Prey Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu Province. 4. Chhrey Vea Village, Prey Vihear Commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu Province. The training provided effective management methods of income and expense to clients and villagers to enable them to manage their cashflow effectively. This is our objective for this project to raise awareness of financial education.

  • Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided training on how to manage efficiency of income and expense to LOLC Cambodia’s client and villagers.

    On December 12, 2023, Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided training on how to manage efficiency of income and expense to LOLC Cambodia’s client and villagers. The training was conducted at Dom Rey Slab village, Preah Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province that 14 participants (10 females) were attended. Participant attention was reflected that they were satisfied with the provided lesson which is valuable for them to apply in their daily life to enable them to manage their income and expenses better.

  • Financial Education Awareness training on how to manage income and expense properly

    The 29 participants of LOLC (Cambodia)’s Clients and villagers including 22 females attended in the Financial Education Awareness training on how to manage income and expense properly. The training was held on the morning of December 8th, 2023, and were trained by Sustainability Management team in Ta Taok Kandal village, Chan Sa commune, Soutr Nikom district, Siem Reap province.
