Phnom Penh, the afternoon of 24th February 2023, at Phnom Penh Hotel, Mr. Sok Voeun, Chief Executive Officer of LOLC (Cambodia) Plc. and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), has honor to give welcome speech and presentation on CMA Perspective and Way Forward on Strengthening Responsible Inclusive Finance in Cambodia in 3rd Annual Forum on Strengthening Responsible Inclusive Finance in Cambodia.

This afternoon forum includes presentations and discussions by representatives from the National Bank of Cambodia, Cambodia Microfinance Association as well as development partners and investors regarding the perspectives, regulations and strategic plans to strengthen responsible inclusive finance in Cambodia.

Furthermore, during this annual forum, the project on “Strengthening Safe Finance in Cambodia” was officially launched in order to promote financial education, client’s right and client protection, which are the efforts of the National Bank of Cambodia, Cambodia Microfinance Association and development partners.

The 3rd Annual Forum held this afternoon was presided over by H.E. Rath Sovannorak, Assistant Governor and Director General of Banking Supervision of the National Bank of Cambodia, and participated by representatives from the National Bank of Cambodia, all Board of Directors of Cambodia Microfinance Association, microfinance institutions who are members of CMA, development partners and investors, with totally around 130 participants.
